Ben Sanders creates beautiful art!
Feel free to browse through my custom-crafted 3D scenes (diorama) below that I have recently created. If you have something in mind that you don’t see please let me know. I can custom design a special art piece to meet your requirements. I can even custom design and personalize my pieces by adding figurines, family photos or objects of sentimental value such as a childhood shoe or a baseball glove, etc, etc. My art pieces are creations that you will cherish for life.
Many of my dioramas are small 3D miniature models mounted on a hard base of wood stone, slate, or metal and range in size from the very small to around 15” to 18” in diameter. They are ideal for any shelf or table top surface. All pieces are custom-made art which are my own design or as suggested by my clients. They are suitable for home or garden and are ideal as personal home decoration or as gifts for friends and family. As well as these I also make other arrangements and pieces of individual art and birdhouses out of exotic woods and metal which are for internal and external display.
A Brief History
The word "diorama" originated in 1823 as a type of picture-viewing device, from the French in 1822. The word literally means "through that which is seen", from the Greek di- "through" + orama "that which is seen, a sight". The diorama was invented by Louis Daguerre and Charles Marie Bouton, first exhibited in Paris in July 1822 and at The Diorama, Regent's Park on September 29, 1823. The meaning "small-scale replica of a scene, etc." is from 1902.
